The music of The BorderCollies is an eclectic mix of contemporary Celtic songs and traditional tunes. The influences range from the songs of present day songwriters Dougie MacLean, Susan McKeown, Jimmy McCarthy and David Gray to the traditional songs and tunes of Ireland and Scotland. The band also has a good repertoire of original songs written by various members of the band and always lend that special feel to everything they do.
